My 24th

December 6th is my birthday.
Lance let me open one present a little early while my parents were here.
So far I L.O.V.E it..
 {i need book suggestions from everyone!}

My parents spoiled me rotten, I just love and miss them so much!
My mom thought this would be a lame gift.
Umm...I think not!
If you haven't tried it, and you have some extra cash, go get some!!!

On my actual birthday Lance told me that he had to work that night and we'd celebrate the next day.
I was bummed, but made the best of it with me and Layla.
We went out to run some errands and when I got home Lance, Sue, and Preston were at our house.
All ready to take me out to this fabulous restaurant.
If you live in the Hattiesburg area, or close by, GO TO IT!
Loved every bit of it!
Thanks Sue and Preston for treating us!
After dinner we went home to some delicious cheesecake
and some great family time.

My birthdays just get better and better.
Thanks to all my family and friends for all the wonderful gifts and the
"Happy Birthdays!"
Here's to another wonderful year!

Happy Birthday Kennedy

16 years ago I remember getting up early to go fishing with my family.
I then remember that really bumpy dirt road we were traveling on, on the way home.
Is that what did it mom? That bumpy road?
Because shortly after that, our little firecracker was born!
I also remember being devastated that I couldn't watch the fireworks with my mom and dad.
I had to watch them with my Aunt Misty instead. (sorry Misty, you know I love ya)

Side story:
During the delivery of Kennedy, I was able to be next to my mother.
The anesthesiologist (sp?) was at the lake (cause that's what you do on the 4th of July)
therefore, I heard my mom say, "I don't think we're going to make it!"
Meaning, getting the epidural.
But in my 7 year old mind, I thought she meant she didn't think "they" were going to make it,
as in my mom and Kennedy.

I, then, was so scared of loosing my mom, I asked if I could go sit with my Grandma Marcia.
I knew she could comfort me.

I remember hearing her sweet cry.
Yeah, I still remember.
I knew they would both be ok.

we love you
Happy sweet 16 little sister!

Hawkin's Batman Birthday Bash

Happy Birthday to our little friend, Hawkin's!
He's now 3 years old!

Jennifer put on a fun little party for him.
I helped her make little capes for all the kids..
It was adorable seeing them run around the yard, with the little gush of wind we had.

Layla was more interested in the dogs though.
This is what she'd do everytime one would run by her.

Birthday boy!

This is Reese.
She is 6 days older than Layla, meaning she was born on Christmas!
She is so darling and gives the best little hugs.
Layla loves her chubby little cheeks.
She'd go up to her and just rub on them.
Reese would just stand by and let her.

Playing games...

Our little Batwoman

Now who can have a Batman party without Batman?
Not Jennifer!
This was Hawkins' expression as he pulled into the yard.

Can yall tell who it is?
{Uncle Brad}

Layla wouldn't believe me when I told her...

This is where she stayed why Batman showed the kids his sweet moves...
..with that Critton scowl.
She knew Sydney would protect her.
