Saturday we took Layla to the zoo in Hattiesburg, MS.
It's very small and intimate, but perfect for her.
I made sure that we were up and ready to be there when it opened at 10:00.
Even by then it was 98 degrees outside.
w/ 100% humidity
Next time we go to the zoo, I'll wear shorts, have my massive amount of hair pulled up, and maybe even bring squirt bottles with ice water in them.
Actually, we'll probably just wait and go back in December!
She wanted to hold every animal we passed

Sleep.
I'm sure they were miserable in that heat.
Even this guy slept..

That would be from the humidity.
It's so funny that they have prairie dogs.
Lance felt so bad as we watched them play and dig their holes.
I'm sure you can imagine why.
At this point we were ready to go.
An hour and half in that heat was enough for us!
